Freddie Mac’s Hoops for the Homeless – a basketball tournament and family event with Arenas, Magic and a host of other celebrities – has raised millions to help homeless children and families in our region.

It’s an exciting day, with the chance for autographs and some great prizes. And there’s children’s entertainment, including a slam dunk clinic, and Hoops too!

Tickets are just $5 and children 12 and under FREE with a can of food for the homeless. Both adults and children must have a ticket to enter. Tickets will be available for purchase online in June, and at the Verizon Center the day of the event. Ticket Information.

Freddie Mac underwrites this charitable event, so all proceeds go directly to six local nonprofits that serve the homeless.
